Dear Friend,
Sometimes, the impact of your support is found in the biggest moments of crisis. Sometimes, it is found in the smallest acts of kindness.
This month, we witnessed both.
🇹🇿 Tanzania: A Life Saved
This month, Joyce, one of the children in our care who lives with Sickle Cell Disease, suffered a severe health crisis. Her condition deteriorated rapidly, and her haemoglobin level dropped to a dangerously low 2 g/dL, placing her life at immediate risk.
Joyce was rushed to hospital, where she received emergency treatment and two blood transfusions. Thankfully, she responded well to treatment, and by the time she was discharged, her haemoglobin had increased to 7 g/dL.

For us, this was a powerful reminder of why the Centre of Hope exists. Without access to immediate care, the outcome could have been very different.
Because of your support, Joyce received the urgent medical care she needed and can continue looking towards her future with hope.
🇪🇸 Spain: Flowers and Dignity
At our Mobile Shower Unit on the Costa del Sol, we recently witnessed a beautiful moment that reminded us why human connection matters so much.
Our friend Ivan, who has experienced homelessness himself, arrived carrying flowers. In the middle of receiving practical support, he wanted to give something back. He wanted to show gratitude and kindness.
It was a simple gesture, but it spoke volumes.
Homelessness often strips people of dignity and leaves them feeling invisible. Yet in that moment, Ivan was not simply receiving help, he was giving it. He was reminding all of us that every person has something valuable to offer.
Because of your support, the Mobile Shower Unit is about more than showers and hygiene kits. It is creating relationships, restoring dignity, and reminding people that they are seen, valued, and loved.
Your Impact This Month
Because of you in May:
🇹🇿 Tanzania
• 34 children continued receiving care at the Centre of Hope.
• 2 families achieved important milestones.
• 9 children made significant progress in their wellbeing and development.
• A new vulnerable child was identified for ongoing support.
🇪🇸 Spain
• Men and women experiencing homelessness continued to access showers, hygiene products, conversation, and compassionate support through our Mobile Shower Unit.
• Moments like Ivan's remind us that dignity and community can be restored, one relationship at a time.
Thank you for standing with vulnerable children in Tanzania and those experiencing homelessness in Spain.
Because of you, a young girl's life was saved.
Because of you, a man experiencing homelessness felt seen enough to bring flowers.
And because of you, hope continues.
