Moments from the Field
Hi Friend
Behind every update are real moments with real people. We wanted to share two small glimpses from the field this month, one from Tanzania and one from Spain, that reflect the heart of the work you make possible.

Spain
This week, something small but deeply moving happened during our outreach in Spain.
One of our homeless friends approached Gemma and handed her a small bunch of flowers. There was no special occasion, just a simple gesture of kindness.
In a world where people experiencing homelessness are so often overlooked, it was a beautiful reminder that generosity and dignity are never defined by what someone owns. Even in the hardest circumstances, the human heart still finds ways to give.
Moments like this quietly capture the spirit of the work, not just meeting needs, but sharing humanity.

Not all the children we support live at the Centre of Hope. Some remain with their families, where we continue to walk alongside them through practical support and regular home visits.
In February, our social worker Rachel visited several of these families. Three households received simple school materials, bags, exercise books and pens, helping ensure the children could continue attending school despite the financial pressures their families face.

During one visit, there was also a small but encouraging sign of change. A father who had previously struggled with alcohol was found sober and spoke openly about his desire to create a more stable home for his children. It was a quiet moment, but one that carried real hope for the future of the family.
These are the quieter parts of the work, supporting families beyond the Centre of Hope so children can grow up in safer, stronger homes.
